A lipoma is a fatty lump that grows slowly between your underlying muscle layer and the skin or intramuscle. It is not tender and easily glides if you put slight pressure. Lipomas mostly have a soft and rubbery texture and are harmless in general.
What are the symptoms of Lipoma?
Lipomas develop as solitary nodules or altogether. Most of them are less than 5 cm in diameter and the patient does not have any symptoms but they can feel slight pain if they put pressure on the nerves.
